About the Technique

While we specialize in creating glass art using a multitude of niche techniques, we also provide our clients with the regular plain glasswork that they may need in their homes or offices. We even provide diamond-clear glass, which, while more expensive, doesn’t have the tinge of green that normal glass does.
Tinted glass:
Tinted Glass is widely used for residential and commercial purposes along with automobiles, furniture and for decorative displays, windows and skylights. These glasses control the transmission of light and heat and reflect the energy. They Sun’s also enable privacy by with one-way visibility.
Flat Glass:
Flat Glass is a general term that describes float glass, sheet glass, plate glass and rolled glass. Flat Glass is used to make windscreens and windows for automobiles; windows and facades for houses and buildings; as well as solar energy equipment such as solar thermal panels and photovoltaic modules. These glasses can be colored.
Clear Glass:
There is a wide array of Plain Glasses that are available in a number of shapes. Our products are procured from trusted vendors. These glasses are known for their appealing looks, smooth edges, premium quality and high finish.
Laminated Glass:
Laminated glass is another type of safety glass. It is made by sticking together two panes of toughened glass, using an interlayer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB). This layer holds the glass together even when shattered, not allowing any pieces to fall to the ground. Laminated glass is used in situations where bulletproof glass is required. It’s properties make it highly useful for protection against burglary, in skylights, and can be used in areas where a grill would interfere with the design.
Toughened Glass:
When regular float glass is broken, it forms large jagged sharp shards that can cause injury. Glass toughening is the process of heating and then cooling float glass in order to alter its chemical structure, resulting in the glass becoming stronger and more resistant to impact. The properties of the glass when it does break are also different. Toughened glass shatters into many very small fragments that are not sharp or dangerous. Toughened glass is also sometimes referred to as tempered glass or safety glass.
Heat Deflecting Glass:
Also known as Double Glazed Unit, this type of glass is made by attaching two layers of glass, while leaving a gap for air in the middle. This gap traps the heat, making the pane an insulator. Heat deflecting glass is most commonly used in skylights and windows in order to reduce the heat entering the house.

Polycarbonate:
Polycarbonate is a material made of thermoplastic polymers and comes in two varieties. One is the coloured wall option that can be used for weatherproofing where transparency is not a requirement and the other is the solid transparent option that is usually used as a substitute for glass where burglary protection is a necessity or for weatherproofing skylights.

Backpainted Glass:

This type of glass is made by simply adding a layer of coloured paint to one side of the glass pane. On account of the natural green tinge of plain glass, we always use diamond clear glass for this purpose, to avoid an unwanted greenish tinge in the final product.
