Authentic Stained Glass is made by framing different types of textured and coloured glass pieces together using lead to create intricate designs. Obtained from a patented lead dye, these pieces of lead are then welded together to complete the piece. Our coloured glass sheets are imported from Venice, China, and the United States, that we then cut to the desired shape for the piece.
Authentic stained glass is best used in places with direct sunlight because when the rays of the sun pass through a piece of authentic stained glass it creates a myriad of unique and constantly changing patterns on the walls and the floor giving an ethereal look to the surroundings. A well known example of this technique can be found in Sagrada Família, a Roman-Catholic basilica in Spain.
